Program
We accept children 2.5 years old (potty trained) - 5 years old.
Program hours are 9am-12pm. Extended hours are available from 7:30-9 am and 12:00-3pm.
Classes are grouped by age, with 10-12 students per class.
Chapels are held twice a month, with singing and a Bible lesson led by one of LHHPC’s pastors.
Family and friends are invited to join us for our various special events throughout the school year, including the Harvest Program, Christmas Program, Grandparent’s Day, and our end of the year Spring Sing.
Curriculum Breakdown
School Readiness – learning and writing letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. Scissor use and fine motor skills. Sight words and writing names.
Music and rhythm – singing, dancing, and listening.
Indoor play – puzzles, blocks, stringing beads, playdough, tabletop toys, housekeeping play, magnetic boards.
Outdoor play – swings, slides, climbers, tricycles, sidewalk chalk, sandbox, and playhouse. The children also help plant and water a small vegetable garden.
Creative activities – different types of painting, collage, and drawing.
Storytime – books, poems, finger plays, and Bible Stories.
Snack time — a snack is provided daily. Children may choose to bring a snack from home.
Show and Tell – children share about something they bring from home.
